Harmony Bible Church came into existence as an independent, evangelical church in 1957. As the name states, Harmony is a Bible church. Even thought there are Bible churches all over the nation and in many foreign countries, it may be unclear what exactly a Bible church is.
A Bible church strives to base all it's doctrine and practices on biblical principles alone. Harmony Bible Church does not rely on tradition, culture or creed to determine its form, functions or beliefs. Bible churches are autonomous and self-governing. The people of Harmony choose their own pastors and leaders and the church is free to follow God's Word without outside interference or authority.
We observe two ordinances: believers baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper. Since we are nondenominational, everyone who has trusted Jesus Christ as Savior is welcome to participate in our communion services.
We hold firmly to the foundations of historical Christianity and are committed to teaching the Word of God in a clear, relevant and life changing way.
